Jun 12, 2013 · Some ISPs change the IP address frequently, others provide it on a long lease but may still change it. Changes are more likely if you turn off your router when not in use. For most users changing IP doesn't matter. If you need a fixed IP the ISP can probably provide one for a small fee and there are other solutions if you do have that requirement. However, I could have an IP address from my provider but just say if I had a granny annexed and she decided to use a different internet provider then surely she would have a different IP address to mine. So it's a bit of a farce really as she'll still live in the same house with the same address etc. What's wrong with having 6 people per account?
It does this when the phone initiates a data connection. It depends on how the Gateway is configured, but it's likely this will be a 10.x.x.x IP address. It's not a public IP address. As mentioned before, the Gateway will have a public IP address for its Gi (2g) or SGi (4g) interface, used by the NAT.
Jul 06, 2017 · Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I tried a few more things. When I pinged the website using powershell it does find the IP address and it does receive all the packets that it sent. I also tried a tracert with the computer in question and with a computer where the website works. The tracert results were equal for both computers.
