Unfortunately, there are many serious issues with the AT&T speed test. First and foremost, the results vary so widely that it’s hard to have any confidence in the tool’s accuracy. Our results from AT&T were much slower than any other speed test, and the download speeds varied by 70+ Mbps from test to test. Actually the Verizon speed tests are almost always the accurate test results because it was meant for testing fios. speedtests site can give ping errors, you can run into several bad servers, etc..
