When I pointed out that the Microsoft Office apps are available in Google's Play Store, Amazon informed me that Amazon’s Fire tablets run Amazon’s own "Fire OS" operating system. Fire OS is based on Google’s Android, but it doesn’t have any of Google’s apps or services. This means that Google Play Store isn’t present on the tablet. I have a Kindle fire HDX 8.9 and wanted to use it for my MA. However, after fooling around with all the suggestions on how to side load or other ways to get it to work I gave up and bought an iPad mini.

Jul 21, 2017 · My kindle fire does the same thing several times a day with at least three different games. Sometimes it gets in a circle where it goes to the app store then back to game then right back to app store again. I then shut the tablet down and it's ok for a little while. Nothing I have tried has stopped it. Just glad I am not alone. Good luck!

I know that the Kindle Fire has the Silk browser that supports Java and Flash. So, I imagine it would work. But we really would also like confirmation. We also discussed using a stylus instead of the finger usage. I have to believe that someone on this forum knows the answer. I love BBO and it would be wonderful to play online with the Kindle Fire.
